I made the choice in the past to put my drug use above my family. My loved ones and myself paid the price with my freedom. The time away from them was not wasted. I taught myself how to draw and express myself creatively when I was in prison. Now, I'm making choices in the present to ensure a better future for those who stood by my side through it all.
